Bespoke is registered as a Benefit Corporation in NYS, and we have amended our company charter to focus a significant part of Bespoke’s resources on work with students from charter schools, public schools, and underserved communities.
Our programs include:
- Tutoring and teaching services for standardized test preparation and K-12 school academic subjects to charter and public schools using a “sliding scale” pricing model that meets the needs of those schools and their students.
- Training and support services that will enhance charter and public schools’ guidance services for secondary school and college applications and such students’ knowledge about applications and admissions processes.
- Tutors of Color Initiative focuses on the recruitment, retention, and support of an ongoing cadre of tutors and teachers of color.
We are proud to provide free tutoring and affordable test prep through institutional partners such as Boys Hope Girls Hope, YES Scholars, Brotherhood Sister Sol, Destination: College, A BroaderWay Foundation, Mount Vernon Star Scholars, Prep for Prep, Wadleigh Scholars, and others.

“As the principal of a school in the South Bronx, I am so grateful to have an opportunity to work with the Bespoke Education Access program. By partnering with Bespoke, my students are receiving professional, high-quality tutoring and test-prep to support them with the high school entrance exams. I have been an educator in this community for 20 years, and my students are exceptionally talented. But without Bespoke, we would not have the resources to provide this level of support — tutoring that is typically available only to higher-income families. The tutors we have met are talented and are having a great impact on our students, and Bespoke’s leaders have been flexible and supportive in tailoring the program to our school’s needs.”
– David Krulwich, Principal, South Bronx Early College Academy Charter School
“Bespoke Education has supported Destination: College’s mission to provide academic support and college access in underserved high schools for over 10 years. Each year our junior student-athletes participate in a Bespoke Education test prep class that genuinely fosters the mind-set that college will be a reality. Our Bespoke Education instructors have been exceedingly qualified and come ready with a meaningful array of strategies to meet our students where they are academically and IMPROVE with consequential results. Thank you Bespoke for this longstanding commitment and hallmark partnership!”
