Prospective Tutors

Interested in becoming a Bespoke tutor? Before applying for a job, you may want to read over the bios of our current tutors on the Tutors page. Please also consider the following information:

• Bespoke Education hires only individuals with proven track records in education: most of our tutors have been or are currently part- or full-time teachers in public, private, or boarding schools.

• Most of our tutors are individuals who have worked with children and their families for a minimum of five years in a variety of capacities: as teachers, camp counselors, outdoor education leaders, and leaders of other programs for children.

• We want tutors who are more than just brains. Our tutors need to connect with the kids and families they are working with in meaningful ways, to inspire our students to work harder and learn material that they may not want to learn, and to communicate with families in a consistent and professional manner. It's important that you have a good sense of humor, an ability to follow through, and well-developed organizational skills.

• We are a rapidly growing business whose needs change frequently as the school year progresses. While we may not have an appropriate opening for someone with your background at the time you apply, an opening may occur later on during the year. We will keep your application on file for up to one year after you apply.

• Make sure that a current CV or resume accompanies your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
