Our tutors are people of extraordinary intelligence and experience. Over 60% have Masters or Doctoral degrees; over 75% have been or are currently full- or part-time teachers; and all have extensive experience working with children and young adults. Materials

The word "Bespoke" as an adjective means "customized and made to individual order." We pride ourselves on being able to provide our students with the most current, up-to-date materials for their classes and test preparation; we carefully craft personalized and customized programs for all our clients that focus on treating each student as a unique person. Unlike other tutoring companies, Bespoke has never advocated a "one size fits all" strategy - every class we teach and every student we tutor allows us to construct new approaches in teaching that we feel will work best for that class or for that student. Our tutoring is, in a word, bespoke.

Flexibility

With Bespoke, there is never a need to commit to pre-paid packages or minimum numbers of hours. We work around you and your children. Want to set up tutoring for one hour each week? An hour and a half? An intensive program over several days? Our office staff can help you set up whatever program will be the best for your schedule.

Experience

Our team of tutors has experience working with students from all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and New Jersey. We have a full-service office in Midtown Manhattan, steps from Grand Central Station, where we hold small-group classes for students seeking expert tutoring on standardized tests, in writing, and even in chess! We work with both public and private school students, and our tutors have experience working with students from grades K-College.

Connections

Our tutors form the kinds of inspirational relationships with their students that are necessary for successful mentoring. We place each student with a specific tutor who we feel will be the right match for the student's needs. These are done carefully, and we do not hesitate to tinker with the match in order to ensure the best possible fit.

Communication

Our tutors are well-versed in the information you need to know: the timing of standardized tests, which books and support materials your child needs, and much more. In addition, you can always call our fully-staffed office for answers to any questions you have about testing, tutoring, billing, or classes. We make communication with the families we work with our number one priority. It is important to us that you are absolutely satisfied with the tutoring arrangements we have set up. Members of the Bespoke team routinely call families to check in and see how tutoring is going, and we ask families to complete comprehensive evaluations after tutoring has ended. This feedback enables us to fine-tune aspects of our program and train our staff more effectively.
